Big thanks to everyone who supported our teams today, both at the competition and from afar! It was a fun morning, and we represented well! Big thanks to Brandon Gachne and PhitGym Loveland for hosting the event. The workouts and the format were fun and exciting, and from his staff and volunteers to his vendors and athletes, everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming! Thanks for a great event, Brandon!

Remember, there are NO classes or open gym today! (Saturday) We have 4 teams competing at the Fitness Wars at PhitGym Loveland in Loveland. There is no timeline for the events as they will be decided tomorrow morning, so I would say for anyone that wants to catch the prime action, be there between 8-10am. I will post any updates as I get them! Here is a list of the teams we are sending:

Monday’s WOD:
Most of you know “DT” is one of my favorite hero workouts, and I was pumped to see it announced in this year’s CrossFit Games events! The twist they added to this classic workout was pretty cool as well, and today you will get the opportunity to try one of them for yourself!

Saturday’s FIELD TRIP!
Remember, Saturday classes and open gym are CANCELLED tomorrow! We are making a trip to tackle the incline in Manitou Springs. Sunday’s open gym will be from 10am-12pm as usual! I have a full vehicle but will still meet at the gym at 7am for anyone that wants to caravan down. If you plan on leaving from your own spot, just plan on meeting at the trailhead of the incline at 930-945ish. Text or call me if you need anything (970-691-2309), but the plan is to be stepping up the hill no later than 10! Don’t forget to bring plenty of water and sunscreen, as well as quarters for parking meters! This is going to be fun!
