Hey guys, Coach G here. I am not a huge fan of “Good Byes” but tomorrow we are sending off one of our long time athletes. Tom has been with us through our past three moves, has been a regular attendee of the 515pm class, and his character not only as an athlete but as an individual make his presence extremely noteworthy. It is extremely hard to highlight his role at my gym and do him justice simply with words. Tom is always quick to introduce himself to new athletes, and he has the ability to relate to and befriend the wide range of individuals that come through our doors. Tom never backs down from challenging workouts, and is no stranger to hard work in and out of the gym.  Tom will be missed, but he is pursuing an amazing opportunity for himself.  There is no doubt in my mind that he will excel no matter where he is, in and out of a CrossFit gym. Tomorrow at 730pm we will be meeting at The Mayor of Old Town to send Tom off. It will not be a “Good bye” gathering, it will be a “see you later” gathering. We will bank on seeing him again, and as long as I am coaching, he is always welcome in my gym. Tom, it has been a pleasure and a privilege. Enjoy your WOD. -Coach G

P.S. I have a special announcement for all classes tomorrow. AND in relation to the WOD, rain or shine (most likely rain) we will still be running. Plan and dress accordingly. You will find comfort in knowing that studies have shown when running in the rain, the faster you run, the less likely the rain is to hit you….fact. See you all tomorrow. – Coach G
