Friday’s WOD:
Again, the only classes we will have today will be the 6am, 7am, 9am, Open Gym, and the 12pm class. After the 12pm class we will need help loading the U-Haul, then unloading at the 1st National Bank Exhibition Hall at 3pm.  Again, there are NO evening classes. The last class of the day is the noon class. Immediately following the noon class I will have a U-Haul ready to be loaded with gear for the competition. Any assistance loading will be greatly appreciated. Once the gear is loaded, we will proceed to the 1st National Bank Exhibition Hall at The Ranch to unload. Again, the more help I have, the faster it will be and the smoother it will go! If you can only help at one location, the one I need the most help at is at the Exhibition Hall to unload and set up. Let me know if you can help tomorrow, or just plan on showing up at the gym at 1pm or at the Exhibition Hall at 3pm. Thanks! Also there will be NO classes on Saturday, and Sunday’s with Shep is on as planned, so long as we can get the gym put back together after the event on Saturday…which I will also need assistance with!

From Reggie Dee:

Hi guys my name is Reggie Desir and I am a Boston Firefighter and crossfit coach at Crossfit Together in Hyde Park Massachusetts. This last week we lost 2 comrades in the line of duty, Lt. Eddy Walsh of Engine 33 and Firefighter
Mike “Dork” Kennedy of ladder 15.

Here is the WOD for Eddy Walsh. Please post to your page if at all possible or if you have room to do it at any time.

Here is the link to the fund that the department set up for Eddy and Mike.https://www.bosfirecu.com/page.php?page=246

Hero WOD

Athlete can go straight from fifth clean to Jerking and from 5th Jerk straight into first front Squat
5RFT
5 Deadlift
5 Cleans
5 Jerks
5 Front-Squat

Attention Quick and the Dead athletes: Changes were made to the heat assignments, nothing major, just had to add some athletes and fix some name typos, but please review and let me know again if anything needs to be fixed! TOMORROW April 4th, the early check in time has changed from 4pm-6pm. If you cannot make it during that time, check in will be from 730am-830am Saturday morning. You all agreed to my waiver when you registered online, I need you all to sign the event center’s waiver, and I have wrist bands for you as well. The event is free to the public, but if you or anyone else chooses to participate in any other events at the expo, they may charge for that! There will be different vendors present as well as a concession stand, but I would highly recommend you bring plenty of food and drinks for the day. Also, there will be some jump ropes in the warm up area, but it is also highly advised that athletes in the pro division bring their own ropes! In other news, the shuttle sprints are 150 ft (Down and back) and the final WOD will be announced in the morning during the judges and WOD briefing, but only the top 8 will advance…and it is winner takes all! Let me know if you have any other questions!
