For those of you that may not know, I’m a bit of a CrossFit OG.

I’ve been doing CrossFit since 2008.

I participated competitively in CrossFit when there were only 2 levels of competition (Regionals, and The Games) and the way you got into Regionals was being 1 of 100 people to sign up.

I’ve been a coach for 12 years and a gym owner for 10.

To summarize, I’ve seen some things, and done some stuff…or to quote the insurance commercial, “I know a thing or two, because I’ve seen a thing or two…”

On Sunday I completed the CrossFit Judge’s Course to legitimize myself and the gym as an official affiliate for the CrossFit Open.

OG or not, I would definitely encourage anyone and everyone to take the Judge’s Course.

It helps provide deeper insight to the sport side of CrossFit, but also highlights the standards that are the foundation of what we do every day.

The cost to register for the Open is $20 and the cost of the online Judge’s Course is $10.

Neither payment is REQUIRED, but both are HIGHLY encouraged.

Speaking of OGs, this is my 12th CrossFit Open!

Feel free to save your Open year, and share to your feed and story with any personal insights you feel are worth sharing!

One thing I have always taken pride in is my availability and flexibility that I offer not only on a daily basis, but especially during the open.

I figure if I lobby (shit talk) as hard as I do to get people to sign up for the open, I had better provide some options for people to do it!

Here is a glance at what I will offer the next few weeks!

If these times don’t work for you, let me know and we will find a way to make it happen!

22.1 is announced tomorrow (2/24/2022).
There is plenty of time to see what it’s all about, and sign up!
